Guest Lecture: Earthquake Resistance, Sustainability, and Economics of Wood Construction

As part of Aron Week 2025, Aron Engineering Pvt. Ltd. organized a guest lecture featuring Michael J. Majer, PE, SE, Project Manager at DEKAT Engineering LLC, USA. With nearly a decade of experience in structural engineering, he shared insights on earthquake-resistant design, sustainable construction, and the economic aspects of wood structures. The session provided students and faculty with valuable knowledge on modern engineering practices and sustainable solutions in structural design.
