Workshop on “Understanding and Combatting Mis/Disinformation”
The Youth Innovation Lab, in collaboration with the US Embassy, offered a compelling educational opportunity—an impactful workshop aimed at empowering students with essential skills to combat Mis/Disinformation in today’s digital landscape. The workshop focused on enabling participants to recognize and debunk various forms of Mis/Disinformation through hands-on exercises and fact-checking techniques. Real-world examples and case studies provide context, fostering a deep understanding of the implications of Mis/Disinformation.

Following the workshop, there was a small information session for the students regarding membership in the United States Youth Council which is the flagship event of United States Embassy in Nepal. The US Embassy’s Youth Council (USYC) supports young members of our community in enhancing their civic involvement through training, projects, and events.
